Golden
This Golden Eagle was illustrated after a truly golden afternoon in Oban, along Scotland's stunning and magical west coast.
It was late Autumn and the golden sun was reflecting off the golden hills, and at times the sky seemed filled with Golden Eagles.
This was quite an early experiment with my ThoughtSeed style, so it took me 15 months to make, carefully twisting thousands of individual cells into dynamic relationships with the surrounding cells to create the form by hand.
